The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Assam has officially released the Admission Notification for Assam D.El.Ed Pre-Entry Test (PET) 2026 for admission into the 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) course (Session 2026–2028).
The course will be conducted in NCTE-recognized Teacher Education Institutes (TEIs) across Assam.

Must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) from a recognized board

Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 34 years
Upper age relaxation: 2 years for SC/ST categories
